- Authors can initiate their first submission by clicking this button.
- Author Resources (e.g., Journal Home, User Guide, Guide for Authors) remain accessible.
8.2 Starting a New Submission
- Clicking Submit New Manuscript begins the structured submission workflow.
- The submission process consists of several sections based on journal requirements.
- Authors must provide:
- Metadata (e.g., title, abstract, keywords)
- Required manuscript files
- Additional information where applicable
- Each step must be completed to move to the next.
- Info Icons offer section-specific guidance.
- Authors can choose Save & Exit at any time.
- The submission is saved as a Draft and can be resumed later.
8.3 Post-Submission Actions
Once submitted:
- A unique Manuscript ID is automatically assigned.
- A confirmation email is sent to the user.
- The submission moves to Submissions Under Initial Review.
- The editorial workflow becomes active and continues until a final decision is reached.
8.4 Dashboard Layout After First Submission
Once a submission is made, the dashboard expands to include the following tabs:

- Manuscript Revisions – View and manage submissions returned for revision
- In Production – Access accepted manuscripts under production
- Processed Submissions – View completed submissions with final decisions
Authors can log in at any time to monitor the progress and status of their manuscripts through these dedicated tabs.
9. Fast-Track Processing Service
The eMM system offers authors the option to request fast-track processing for eligible manuscripts. This expedited workflow is designed for submissions of urgent scientific relevance, high policy value, or time-sensitive findings.
- Authors are advised to carefully review the journal’s Guidelines for Fast-Track Manuscripts before opting for this route.
- To apply for fast-track consideration, authors must include a clear justification in the Cover Letter, explaining the reason for urgency or importance of the manuscript.
- The final decision on whether a manuscript qualifies for fast-track processing rests with the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
Manuscripts approved for fast-track processing are subject to an additional fee of 50% above the standard publication charges, reflecting the priority handling and accelerated turnaround time.
Note: Approval of a fast-track request is not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of the Editor-in-Chief.
10. Article Transfer Service (ATS)
The Article Transfer Service (ATS) allows authors to transfer their manuscript to another journal within the Logixs Journals platform if it is not accepted by the originally submitted journal. This optional service streamlines the process by redirecting the manuscript without requiring a fresh submission.
To initiate a transfer:
- Ensure that the manuscript aligns with the Aims & Scope of the proposed journal.
- Confirm that all co-authors consent to the transfer.
- Select the desired journal from the dropdown menu when prompted.
Note: Publishing policies, Manuscript Submission Fees (MSF), and Article Processing Charges (APCs) may differ between journals. Applicable waivers or discounts are journal-specific and can be found on the publication charges page of the respective journal.
11. File Upload Process
Authors must upload all files related to their manuscript through the eMM system. The following guidelines apply:
- The main manuscript must be uploaded in Microsoft Word format and must not contain any tracked changes or comments.
- For revised submissions, upload:
- A clean version titled “Revised Manuscript”
- A tracked version titled “Revised Manuscript Tracked Version”
- Once a file is uploaded, that file designation will no longer appear in the dropdown list until the file is deleted. To replace a file, Delete the existing one and upload the new version. Use the View button to check uploaded files.
- It is mandatory to upload a License Agreement, signed by the corresponding author on behalf of all contributors. Use the file designation “License Agreement.”
- Authors are strongly encouraged to upload a relevant Research Reporting Guideline checklist (e.g., STROBE, CONSORT, PRISMA) for research article submissions.
- The appropriate checklist may be selected from the EQUATOR Network or generated via their online tool.
- Upload the checklist using the designation “Research Compliance Document.”
- Keep file names short and clearly identifiable.
- Figures and plates must be of high quality and fully legible. Provide original figure creation files where applicable. For photographic images, submit files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and a width of at least 10 cm.
Only supported file types will be accepted. For details, refer to Section 12: Accepted File Formats.
Note: Large files may take more time to upload depending on your connection speed.
12. Accepted File Formats
